Barbara Grassey is a writer and book coach who moved from the US to Portugal solo in January of 2021, in the middle of the COVID lockdowns. Her Substack, My Expat Golden Girl Life, explores her journey as an expat, from the logistics of moving to slices of everyday life. She is the author of American Expat: Moving Abroad Solo After 60.
