Just discovered your podcast. As an American just arriving in Paris, this episode really touched me. I was relieved to realize it is highly likely to be a big adjustment and challenging even after 2 weeks (lol yes I was wondering if it was normal). Thank you for your work and for Catherine’s openness about her experiences.
Ileana, we are so happy that Catherine's story found you at what seems like just the right time! Moving to a new country IS a big adjustment, and from personal experience, there will still be adjustments months from now, and years from now. Some you will notice, some you won't, and some will be blended into the ways you yourself will have changed. :) All the best as you learn, grow, and adjust in your journey!
I so enjoyed listening to the interview with Catherine, who is one of my dearest friends. Her reflections and understanding of her journey thus far was so inspiring and moving. My thanks to the podcast interviewers and to all the people out there who truly dare!
Thank you, Meg! We also were inspired by Catherine's journey and her reflections on it thus far. It really does take a bit of "daring" to leap from the familiar to the "unknown", and Catherine has accepted the call. She hasn't just "moved", she's on a journey, as you say, to find home. Taking the journey solo adds another layer to the emotional landscape, and we appreciated Catherine's insights into her experiences with that.
